Gençlerin dini ve etnik kimlik algısı: diyarbakır örneği

Bu  çalışmada  öncellikle  kimlik  kavramının  oluşumu,  dini  ve  etnik  kimli-ğin  oluşumuna  etki  eden  faktörler,  Diyarbakır’ın  sosyo-kültürel  yapısı  ve bu  yapıdaki  değişim  ele  alınarak  çalışmanın  kavramsal  çerçevesi  ortaya konulmaktadır. Diyarbakırlı gençlerin dini ve etnik kimlik algılarının nasıl şekillendiği  ve  bu  olguların  oluşumundaki  temel  etmenlerin  neler  olduğu çalışma çerçevesinde ele alınmıştır. Bu kavramsal çerçeve ile desteklenen anket ve katılımlı gözlemler yoluyla veriler toplanmıştır. Araştırmada Diyarbakırlı gençlerin dini ve etnik kimliklerinin nasıl oluştuğu; cinsiyet, ikamet edilen semt/sosyo-ekonomik yapı ve eğitim bağımsız değişkenleriyle ilişkisi tartışılacaktır.

This study presents a conceptual framework which primarily focuses on the formation of the concept of identity, the factors affecting the formation of religious and ethnic identity and the socio-cultural structure in Diyarbakır, by considering changes in this structure. How young people’s perceptions of religious and ethnic identity in Diyarbakır are shaped and the main factors in the formation of these phenomena are dealt with within this framework. Data were collected through the survey supported by this conceptual framework and participant observations. This study discusses how young people’s religious  and  ethnic  identities  are  formed  and  the  relationships  between independent variables such as gender, place of residence, socio-economic structure and education.
