1973 general elections are of importance on the basis of becoming evident of the political actors who would be appear in the politics scene until 1980. These elections are took place after the 12 March 1971 Turkish coup d’état, and with these elections democracy was restored. the results of elections was a victory for the Republican People’s Party (CHP). The results of the selections gave rise to exaggerated comments for the Turkish political life such as “a classified structure has arisen”, “shanty folk became conscious”. For the above mentioned reasons 1973 general elections should handle in more close manner.
