Ibn meymun’ un düşüncesinde ahlâkî yetkinlik

Bu çalışmada İbn Meymun’un insanın mükemmellik derecelerini dört kısma ayırdığı görüşleri değerlendirilmiştir. Bu mükemmellikler: a- Para, toprak ve elbise gibi sahip olunan maddiyatla b- Vücudun fiziksel sağlığı ile c- Ahlâkîlik ve sosyallikle d- Nazari ve aklî (faziletlerle) elde edilenlerdir. Mükemmelliğin belirtilen bu çeşitleri hiyerarşik bir oluşum içerisinde olmakla birlikte dördüncü derece olarak gösterilen mükemmellik hem mükemmel insanı hem de onun nihâi gayesini ortaya koymaktadır.

This study examines Moses Maimonides’s interpretation that there exists are four kinds of human perfection. These are (a) material, in that they relate to the possession of material goods such as Money land and clothes, (b) physical relating to the healt of the body, (c) moral and social (d) theoretical and intellectual. These kinds of perfection are structured in a hierarchy, with the fourth kind represented as ‘true human perfection’ and ‘the ultimate end’ towards which all the other kinds point.
